Why Chinese?Chinese is one of the most spoken languages in the world, and China is becoming a nation of increasing importance in the global realm.
From an economic standpoint, the magnitude of China's population gives it a maximum GDP potential much higher than any other nation in the developed world. Some forecasts of Chinese GDP have it reaching twice the United States level of GDP as early as 2021* Even when China's population is taken into account in a per-capita analysis, no one can deny the important role China is currently playing and will undoubtedly continue to play. Mandarin is the most spoken dialect in all of China. TV Broadcasts, Radio, and Official Addresses are all read in the Mandarin dialect. It is the language of schools, universities and businesses. People from across all China can communicate using Mandarin, despite possibly speaking additional dialects at home or in certain areas. To summarize, Mandarin is a safe dialect to learn to speak because no matter who from China you need to speak to, odds are in your favor that Mandarin will suffice. * Source: "The Dating Game." How Much?
Our standard rate is $60/Hour for personalized Chinese instruction.
Serious students, however, will find it advantageous to register for 20 or more class hours at a time, this will cut the rate to $50/hour. If you're interested, please fill out the form below. If you're interested in a group environment, prices will be lower, however availability will also be lower. Please include this desire in the comments section of the form below.
